workshops:

–three intense days (usually friday morning- sunday night) in various locations with 3-5 people. i’ve done these sessions in lots of places, e.g. richmond/london bristol, lacanau, berlin,… if you have a suitable space we could do it there… the glassing of the boards is not included. the boards then either will be glassed by the participants at home or by me/ with me in cornwall and sent via courier when done. this usually takes around  4 -6 weeks.

the prices include tuition and all the materials to complete the shape of choice (internal plywood structure, paulownia/cedar deck and bottom skins, bead and cove rail strips, glues,…) and the tools needed to work. boards are glassed with entropy resin super sap and hexcel 4oz. as standard. other requirements are possible.

plenty of shapes to choose from. most of the time we design and adapt the boards individually beforehand to match skill, weight, height, etc.
the template and length of the board needs to be clear ideally around three weeks ahead of the workshop!

not included in the price are finplugs, fins.
i recommend fcs-fusions and sell them for 10£ /fin. other systems are possible but i need to know around a month before the workshops which system.

food and accomodation is not included.

to sign up i request a £125 deposit. bank details on request. after the workshop you will receive an invoice with the final price.

as soon as i got the deposit, we can discuss your board.
my standard questions about the board are:
do you already have a board in mind? send me pictures, link, drawings, ideas,…
what is your level of fitness? how often do you surf? where do you surf? what is your honest surf-skill level?
what kind of boards do you surf and how do you like them?
your height? your weight?
